Our Response to COVID-19

Hello friends!

We would like to talk to you about some safe reception practices during the COVID-19 Pandemic. First and foremost, we are committed to practicing safe handling when your items are being made. All fabrics are pre treated by washing with gentle detergent prior to cutting your orders out. This ensures the virus is not on any of our fabrics being shipped in. We are also practicing social distancing and handwashing procedures prior to entering the work studio.

Please be advised, my husband is an essential employee and want to be very transparent about that, though he is not currently permitted in my work studio.

We are taking all possible precautions on our end, but we highly recommend our customers take extra precautions upon receiving their packages:

  1. Please assist me in showing your respect and appreciation for our postal workers by ensuring you wait until they are more than six feet away from your door prior to grabbing your parcel off your porch or from your mailbox.
  2. We highly recommend you wipe your parcel down with Lysol wipes or another antibacterial spray with a cloth. Our items are shipped in plastic polymailers which are very easily wiped down upon reception.
  3. Lastly, we know you're super excited to put your new items on your little ones, but we highly recommend washing the items before wear. On the small chance that I am asymptomatic, washing your items with soap and hot water will help prevent any transmission.

Changes to our shipping policy:

  1. We will not be offering lettermail shipping at this time, unfortunately when Canada Post removes delivery guarantees, lettermail items have a much higher chance of being lost. In light of this, we've made our under $50 tracked shipping only $10, so we're splitting the additional cost with you to ensure your items arrive.
  2. We will not be offering local pick-up during this time, please stay home! Instead, we are offering contactless delivery in Waterloo Region. Orders over $50 will be eligible for free delivery, and orders under $50 will be subject to a $5 fee to aide us in gas and vehicle costs.
  3. We have added a $0 combine option, please ONLY select this if you have already paid for shipping. If you do not have an open order already with shipping paid, you will be invoiced for the remainder and if it is not paid your order will be cancelled and refunded.
